The particle filtration efficiency of the gown shall be as follows:
Moist – 80.0 percent
Dry - (Particle penetration per 1.000 particles) - 1/1000
The garment shall allow freedom of movement, facilitate aseptic technique and prevent excessive heat buildup.
The gown shall be double wrapped. The inside wrapper shall be memory free to permit aseptic donning. The outer wrapper shall be a tear-open waterproof plastic which also serves as a dust wrapper.
